Background

chargeMOD is a fast-growing startup providing advanced charging solutions for electric vehicles. Founded by four engineering students from Kozhikode, the company entered the EV ecosystem with strong technical capabilities but without the brand recognition needed to gain trust from consumers or the industry. Despite their innovation, the founders had no public narrative or platform to present their work, making it essential to build their visibility from the ground up.
As a young startup, chargeMOD lacked awareness and industry acceptance. There were no existing media touchpoints, no public messaging, and no strategic communication to help them stand out in the rapidly growing electric mobility landscape. Our challenge was to create acceptance among EV vehicle owners, dealers, and marketers while shaping chargeMOD into a name that resonated within the automobile and EV sectors.

Solution

PR 360 recognized that the strongest storytelling asset chargeMOD possessed was its origin four engineering students who identified the gaps in EV handling and developed solutions rooted in real-world experience. This authentic narrative allowed PR 360 to position the brand as a symbol of youth-driven innovation and technological progress within Kerala’s EV movement. The strategy focused on connecting chargeMOD’s story with the larger shift toward sustainable mobility in India.

To elevate the brand, we developed a narrative-driven communication plan centered around thought leadership and media visibility. The founders were positioned as emerging experts in the EV domain and were strategically placed in industry spaces where their voices mattered.

They became speakers at conclaves, participants in tech and mobility forums, and guests on podcasts. In-depth feature stories highlighted their journey, their engineering mindset, and their contribution to Kerala’s EV ecosystem. These platforms helped humanize the brand and build trust with both consumers and industry stakeholders.

The consistent storytelling and visibility efforts significantly elevated chargeMOD’s presence. The brand gained recognition among EV owners, manufacturers, and marketers, strengthening its credibility within both the startup and mobility sectors. Media coverage and public discussions helped establish chargeMOD as a relevant player in the EV industry. The founders emerged as young leaders shaping the future of mobility innovation in Kerala.
